Crypto hardware and security firm Ledger supports an NFT collaboration with BRICK, a crypto-meets-music venture co-founded by musicians Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson.
Ledger, the cryptocurrency hardware and security firm, is collaborating with BRICK, a cryptocurrency-meets-music venture that aims to be a Web3-powered community-run space for artists. Think of BRICK as an NFT project that also functions as a Metaverse music venue.
Co-founded by musicians Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson, BRICK aims to strengthen further the connection between the music industry and the crypto sphere. It promises to be a “music venue by night and a community-run creative space by day.”

As already mentioned, BRICK is Spielman and Stevenson’s brainchild. For over ten years, the pair toured with Trash Talk, a hardcore punk band. The two decided to develop the concept for BRICK, having borne witness to the rigors of the DIY punk scene.
BRICK desires to establish a reputation as a creative space run by a community during the day and a music venue at night, thereby serving as an artistic hub for many artists. Included in the plans is to make BRICK a place for live concerts, workshops, and comedy shows.
That’s not all, though. BRICK also wants to educate artists about cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency security through financial literacy classes. Hence, the partnership with Ledger.
The BRICK and Ledger NFT project will not only have brick-and-mortar headquarters, but it will likewise purchase land in the Metaverse. The Metaverse venue will be for holding virtual concerts and the aforementioned financial literacy classes.
It is safe to say that BRICK intends to be a haven for musicians and other artists.
BRICK Genesis Pass
To get into BRICK, users must have the BRICK Genesis Pass. Presale for the Genesis Pass started on Wednesday, September 7, and is currently open to Ledger’s [ L ] Market Pass holders. Those who don’t have a Ledger [ L ] Market Pass can still join the allowlist and get the chance to have a Genesis Pass by paying 0.15 ETH.

Per Ledger Market’s official website, 50% of the mint money will go towards a Ledger Vault wallet, which will be used to rent venues and pay for other incidentals—programming, staff, and other holder-voted activities.
Then, one week after the reveal, BRICK will conduct a snapshot wherein holders of the Genesis Pass can claim a unique, physical brick from the venue’s walls. The brick’s design will depend on how many BRICK NFTs a holder has:
1-4 BRICKS = Red founding BRICK
5-9 BRICKS = Silver founding BRICK
10-49 BRICKS = Gold founding BRICK
50+ BRICKS = 3M founding BRICK
Holders of the BRICK Genesis Pass will likewise be given voting rights over what BRICK must do with the venue. The number of BRICK NFTs will determine a holder’s power in community votes (1 BRICK = 1 vote).
Voting power will get BRICK Genesis Pass holders free entry to all events with a plus-one, merchandise, access to workshops, and more. They will also gain access to Metaverse and live-streamed events and token-gated masterclasses. Here is a list of events that BRICK holders can expect:
