RLTY enters The Sandbox with easy-to-use event-building tools to make it easier for anyone to launch Metaverse events.
In a tweet posted on Monday, The Sandbox announced that it is partnering with RLTY to leverage its “suite of event-building tools and architecture on our platform.” The Sandbox is a community-driven platform that allows creators to monetize voxel assets and gaming experiences on the Ethereum blockchain.
On the other hand, RLTY has gained a reputation for building tech tools that allow events to be organized on Metaverse platforms like The Sandbox.
What the Collaboration Would Mean for Many
Once the collaboration gets underway, RLTY’s suite of easy-to-use, no-coding event-building tools will make it so much easier for brands, artists, and businesses to plan, create, and launch immersive experiences for their communities using The Sandbox. RLTY expressed its excitement over the partnership through its official Twitter account.
To highlight what it can do and the power of its architecture, RLTY purchased a 6×6 plot of LAND on The Sandbox. RLTY will use the space to host events that it will produce through licensing partnerships with major artists, conferences, brands, festivals, fashion shows, and galleries. RLTY will use The Sandbox to host said experiences, thereby reinforcing their new partnership.
“RLTY and the Sandbox are giving brands the tools to build the next generation of digital and virtual events, to connect with a new audience and strengthen links with existing fans in a new and exciting way,” said Zack Sabban, co-founder of RLTY. “This is the next frontier of events, and we believe it will be as big as gaming in the Metaverse. We are creating the infrastructure to make it easy for everyone to participate.”
On The Sandbox’s part, the collaboration will bolster its current standing as the primary destination for brands seeking to start their Web3 journeys by creating digital event experiences for their communities.
“We’re excited to see RLTY providing the ability to anyone to become an Event organizer and launch their own Concert or Festival in the Metaverse,” said Sebastien Borget, COO and co-founder of The Sandbox. “This is exactly what is needed to make the Metaverse a vibrant place where users through their Avatars can enjoy new forms of entertainment and nonstop fun.”
Events Are Slowly Asserting Themselves in the Metaverse
In the beginning, gaming was a big thing in the Metaverse. However, events have slowly asserted themselves by offering a full range of services that only brands can do. RLTY understands it, which is why this partnership with The Sandbox will allow brands, artists, and businesses to use the following:
- Digital Venues
- NFT Tickets, Sales, and Distribution
- Access Control
- Web3 Marketing Tools
- Pre- and Post-event NFT Monetization Tools
- In-event Gamification Options
- Event Dashboard for Detailed Event Analysis
What could this mean, especially for IRL event organizers, Web3 NFT communities, large corporations, and even luxury brands?
Brands that are just now treading the Metaverse would find it easier to explore its waters with ease, thanks to RLTY’s suite of Web3 event-building tools. Through the Metaverse, musicians and bands can perform to millions. With the event and digital product crossovers, luxury brands can bring their level of customer experience several notches higher. Large corporations can hold hundreds of conferences and seminars without worrying about geographical and financial obstacles.
The Sandbox and RLTY’s partnership couldn’t have come at a better time, with the Metaverse entering a new era of development and expansion.
