The Aurory Project is a record-breaking play-to-earn desktop game on the Solana blockchain that recently launched an early access version of “Nexus,” a world accessible through the game.
The Aurory Project is a record-breaking play-to-earn (P2E) desktop game on the Solana blockchain. Concurrent with the game’s release was the Aurorian NFT sale, recognized as one of Solana’s most highly anticipated NFT sales, having over 150,000 simultaneous minters.
The Aurorian NFTs serve as avatars for those who supported the game from the get-go. What’s worth noting about the avatars is that they come with an exhaustive list of exclusive perks and benefits.
Even the initial dex offering (IDO) of the Aurory Project’s multi-utility ecosystem token, the $AURY, was the largest IDO on Solana. It funded the game’s development successfully and notched a position for the Aurory Project to innovate on Solana’s P2E space. The successful IDO also allowed the game to operate as one of the market leaders for the years to come.
Players can earn the $AURY through the player vs. environment (PvE) and player vs. player (PvP) modes and staking.
Two Aurory Worlds and Nexus
Aurory’s gameplay is not too complicated—it invites players to explore a rich and diverse universe made up of two worlds, Antik and Tokané. Here, players will have the opportunity to complete quests, discover lost relics, defeat enemies, and compete against other players using “Nefties.”
Nefties are magical creatures that players can hatch, evolve, trade, and use to battle. These Nefties are NFTs that will go with players as they journey throughout their adventure in the many immersive game modes the game offers.
However, a surprising Twitter post on Thursday confirmed a new world for Aurorians.
The tweet describes Nexus as “an evolving home base where players can access different experiences across the Aurory ecosystem.”
Another tweet from the Aurory Project’s official Twitter account showed a screenshot of Nexus with the caption “Centra Hub loading.”
On the early access version of Nexus, it is described as “the blockchain crossroads that traverses the space between the worlds of Antik and Tokané.” The description alludes to the possibility that Nexus is a unique game mode that “only exists” if a player “wants it to.”

This early, players of the Aurory Project are already expressing their excitement over Nexus, and with good reason. There are reports that Nexus is on a different level, featuring an in-game lobby offering something special than the typical point-and-click crypto interface.
Those who have run through the early access version of the game are being teased that more will be in store for them once the PvE and PvP portals open. Already, players are saying the future looks bright for this latest iteration in the world of Aurory.
The Aurory Project team uses Nexus’s early access version as a testing ground for its build. Thus far, this version is giving positive feedback on the gameplay, indicating that the possibilities for evolving the Nexus are endless.
The team’s fervent hope is that, through time, Nexus will become players’ own place in the Aurorian Universe.
