Solve.Care, the global healthcare blockchain technology company, has launched an NFT collection featuring children’s drawings to raise funds to support Ukrainian refugees.
Solve. Care, an innovative blockchain healthcare platform, recently launched an NFT auction to raise funds for civilians refugees fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. The auction will feature beautiful and meaningful artwork created by Ukrainian children displaced by the war.
Initially, the children’s drawings were part of the government’s efforts to share uplifting messages with those on the frontlines of the war, including the young artists’ parents, siblings, and relatives. These drawings were transformed into NFTs to deliver a message of hope and support to Ukraine’s armed forces and everyone affected by the Russian invasion and raise crucial funds.
Solve.Care Shows Support Through Art
The children’s creative drawings highlight the best of humanity amid the horrible war that ravaged Eastern Europe. These displaced children worked on their art while seeking shelter in Solve.Care’s Care Shelters.
Solve.Care’s core—its CEO, the CEO’s wife, and many of its employees—has deep roots in Ukraine. The company was among the few multinational firms that had to respond to the Russian military invasion by first ensuring the safety of its employees and their families.
Likewise, the company had to ensure that its operations continued amid the conflict, leveraging its team’s expertise, technology, and mission to be a force for positivity in the ravages of war. After evacuating the Solve.Care team from Ukraine, the company turned its attention to helping civilians by establishing refuge centers across Western Ukraine.
Since then, the Care Shelter initiative has been launched with assistance from local city officials and volunteers. Currently, nine Care Shelters have been set up and acting as safe havens for more than 2,000 Ukrainian refugees running from the horrors of war-torn Ukraine. Solve.Care employees, who themselves were displaced from the tech firm’s largest office in Kyiv, set up the Care Shelters.
The team behind this initiative decided to mint a unique NFT art collection from the children’s works and auction them on OpenSea, one of the leading NFT marketplaces today. Funds raised from the auction will be used for food, medicine, and other necessities of displaced individuals and families housed by the shelters.
Crypto Community Encouraged to Stand with Ukraine
Solve.Care is appealing to members of crypto communities around the Web3 space who stand for peace to support this NFT auction initiative. A little will go a long way towards helping raise much-needed funds for food, medicine, beds, blankets, and other essentials that those seeking refuge in Care Shelters need.
Pradeep Goel, CEO of Solve.Care, encouraged people to join the initiative and spread the word about the auction. He was adamant in assuring that every last cent from the NFT sale would be used to fund Ukrainian families in desperate need of help.
“We know that we are not a charity, nor a government agency, but we are an IT company who loves Ukraine and is doing things on the ground to support Ukrainian families. Existing support is helping us to keep going and provide even more aid—and we are asking the Crypto, NFT, and wider Web3 community to support this auction in any way that they can,” he said.
“Every cent we are given for this initiative, we spend directly on shelters to support these families. There is not one cent of waste, and there is no administrative overhead because it is the Solve.Care team directly doing the work,” he continued.
